Can Bello come along?
Of course :-) What would a holiday be without our favourite four-legged friends? We provide specially selected dog rooms where you can feel right at home . Dogs cost €20 per day and are allowed everywhere except the Lila Wolken Self Care Club and the restaurant (this is for hygiene reasons, sorry). Don’t want to leave your furry friend in the room? No problem! There are lovely spots for you both at the Drifters Hang Out.
Where can I park at Urban Nature St. Peter-Ording?
Travelling by car: Hit the road to somewhere in between! The best route is via the A23 (Heide-West – Wesselburen – Eidersperrwerk exit). We do, of course, have an underground car park and six charging points for your electric car. Drive past the three red high-rise buildings and you’ll be right here.
Please note: Under no circumstances should you try to drive along the beach promenade (it definitely won’t work)! If your sat-nav doesn’t recognise the route – simply enter Fritz-Wischer Straße 9 … and off we go.
- Parking per night/day for hotel guests: €12
- Parking for restaurant guests with a minimum spend of €50: €12
- Flat-rate charging fee for electric cars: €12 per charge (in addition to parking fees)
- Parking for non-hotel guests: €25 per day
Don’t fancy coming by car? How about taking the train instead? There’s an hourly service from Hamburg to St. Peter-Ording. With a short stopover, you’ll reach your destination in around 2 hours 45 minutes. It’s best to get off at “Bad St. Peter-Ording”. From there, it’s an easy 15-minute walk (via “Hund von Eden” – “Mondenkind” – turn right behind the bus stop and follow the path to your destination) or you can cruise the last bit in a taxi of your choice. Alternatively, take bus line 3 (“Cityshuttle”) to the “Am Kurpark” stop – from there it’s a relaxed 3-minute walk.
Or by plane: Sorry , no jets or UFOs in this neighbourhood between worlds. The nearest airport is Hamburg (150 kilometres away). From there, continue by train or car.
By the way… The “Cityshuttle” (local bus) is free for you in St. Peter-Ording. No matter how you travel – but only once you have your Urban Nature guest card (available digitally from the tourist information centre, valid from the day of arrival).
Is there a charging point for electric vehicles?
At our six charging points, with a capacity of up to 22 kW, you can top up your energy for the next leg of your journey. Payment is made directly at the charging point – simply using standard electronic payment methods. Price: €0.64/kWh.
What payment methods are accepted at Urban Nature?
Money, money, money – honey? You can pay in cash, by debit card or credit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express). Yey!
What does the area around St. Peter-Ording have to offer?
St. Peter-Ording offers a fascinating blend of nature, culture and adventure. The iconic stilt houses on the beach are an absolute must-see – wooden huts up to seven metres high, built on stilts, offering a unique view across the Wadden Sea. The Westerhever Lighthouse, with its red-and-white façade, offers a breathtaking view across the entire Eiderstedt peninsula and is another highlight of the region. For nature lovers, the birdwatching hut at Tümlauer Bay is an insider’s tip for observing rare bird species in their natural habitat. The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, invites you to go on exciting mudflat walks, where you can experience the dynamic landscape between land and sea at first hand. The sandy beach, over twelve kilometres long, offers a wide range of beach activities, from surfing to leisurely walks. For cyclists, the Wikinger-Friesen-Weg – a cycle route of around 180 kilometres between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, starting in St. Peter-Ording – is an excellent way to explore the region. And for a relaxing break amidst all these adventures, we’re here for you :-)

What is beautiful should remain beautiful. In many holiday resorts, this is ensured, amongst other things, by the visitor’s tax, which is used to fund the tourist infrastructure in a spa town, such as the cleaning of beaches and parks, the provision of toilets and spa concerts, as well as the running of tourist information centres and spa centres.
