Check-in from 3 pm – we’ll be busy making everything nice & cozy for you beforehand (yay!). Check-out by 11 am – we’ll already be starting to miss you.
What the WiFi?
Free Wi-Fi is included at Urban Nature St. Peter-Ording. We’re not stuck in the past, you know.
Can Buddy come along?
Yes :-) Four-legged friends welcome! We provide selected dog rooms where you can feel right at home. Dogs cost 25 € per day and are allowed everywhere except the Alpine Swim Club and the restaurant (for hygiene reasons, sorry). You don't want to leave your pet in the room? No problem! There are lovely spots for you in the Drifters Hang Out.
Park smart. But where?
Where can you park your car? Conveniently right in front of the hotel for unloading. Just make sure you don't get in the way of the traffic on Straubingerplatz.
Parking
Parking spaces are available in the multi-storey parking lot at the waterfall (about 250 meters away) for €12 per day and vehicle. Please remember to pay for your parking ticket at our reception before you leave.
Note: Please use the rear entrance of the parking garage for vehicles over 1.90 m high!

Money, money, money - honey? You can pay in cash, by card or credit card (Master Card, Visa and American Express). Yey!
What highlights are there for ski fans in and around Bad Gastein?
Skiers and snowboarders can look forward to four ski areas in Gastein, which can be reached in just a few minutes by public shuttle. In Bad Gastein, the ski areas Bad Gastein/Bad Hofgastein - Schlossalm/Angertal/Stubnerkogel, Sportgastein and Graukogel - Bad Gastein are available. The ski areas are located between 0.8 km and 11.0 km from the village center.
What else does the surrounding area offer?
In addition to hiking, cycling or skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in winter, the Gastein Valley has a golf course and a mini-golf course as well as tennis courts, you can go climbing and horse riding, archery and even gold panning.
Is smoking allowed in Urban Nature Bad Gastein?
Nope. We are a non-smoking hotel. But you can do and smoke what you like in the fresh air and outside the door :-)
Is there barrier-free access and barrier-free rooms?
We are a hotel with nooks and crannies (and stairs and steps) - not everything is barrier-free, to be honest. But we also have an elevator and barrier-free vacation options. Get in touch with the team and we'll find your perfect place to be.
Is there a pool at the Urban Nature Hotel Bad Gastein?
Listen - the former bathing castle looks back on a rich history full of bathing culture. There is not just one pool, but an entire Alpine Swim Club! With a rooftop infinity pool, various saunas, five treatment rooms & more. You have to see it with your own eyes to be honest.
Can I visit the spa or the restaurant as a day guest?
Feel free! Day Spa for external guests is no drama at all, bathrobe, slippers and bath towel are included on loan. And Auntie Heidi, our soul food restaurant, is already looking forward to seeing you.
Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning?
We don't have air conditioning - but we still make sure your favorite spot is always at the right temperature.
Is there a visitor's tax in Bad Gastein?
What is beautiful should stay beautiful. In many vacation resorts, this is ensured by the visitor's tax, which is used to finance the tourist infrastructure in a health resort, such as the cleaning of beaches and parks, the provision of toilets and spa concerts, as well as the maintenance of tourist information centers and spa houses. The current overnight stay tax in Bad Gastein is € 3 per person per day, from 01.07.2025 it will be €4 per day (per person). In addition, a mobility tax of € 0.50 is levied by the municipality. This allows you to use local public transport free of charge. The levy is therefore currently €3.50 and will be €4.50 from 01.07.2025.
