Wadden Sea walk

Barefoot through the mudflats, salt on your skin, vastness in your head – welcome to the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site! In St. Peter-Ording, your adventure starts right on the beach, where the North Sea recedes at low tide and the seabed is exposed – time for a real nature experience! Whether with the family, as a group or with a guide: a Wadden seahike is not only super healthy, but also quite mind-blowing. Crabs, mussels, lugworms – life underfoot is wild and fascinating.

But: safety first! Only go at low tide, with enough time for the way back and preferably together with a mudflat guide. They know the rhythm of high and low tide and will bring you really close to the Wadden Sea – funny facts included.
