Let's go adventuring

Head for the lifestyle hotel directly on Straubingerplatz

Arrival by car

How do you get to the Urban Nature Hotel in Badeschloss? Very easy: Follow the B167 until you reach Straubingerplatz. Your destination: the main entrance to the hotel. If your satnav doesn't quite keep up, simply enter Straubingerplatz 4, 5640 Bad Gastein. You can stop directly in front of the hotel to unload. However, please take care not to obstruct the traffic on Straubingerplatz and don't park in front of the main entrance for long periods, otherwise you will only block the flow and bring bad vibes.

Parking made easy

You can park your car in the parking garage by the waterfall - just 250 meters from the hotel. 12 per day and you have the perfect parking space. No stress, no drama. How to pay? Easy at reception before you leave.

Heads up:
If your car measures over 1.90 m, then head to the rear entrance of the parking garage - this will leave your head free for the mountains and urban mountain vibes and you can enjoy your stay in chill mode without any parking garage drama.

Arrival by train

Green vibes & alpine view incoming: the train takes you to Bad Gastein in an easy and climate-friendly way. Comfortable, sustainable and full on Alpine flow - no traffic jams, no stress. It takes you about 20 minutes to walk from the station to us. But beware: it's a steep climb! If you want to skip the hike on arrival, simply take a cab or the public bus (bus stop: "Wasserfall") - and arrive at Badeschloss completely relaxed.

You can check current connections directly with the train companies - simply enter "Bad Gastein" (DB) or "Bad Gastein Bahnhof" (ÖBB & SBB), book your ticket and sit back.

Smart & sustainable: With the climate ticket, you can explore the whole of Austria sustainably and do something for the environment at the same time. The ticket is valid for all means of public transport - from trains and city transport to transport networks throughout the country. It costs 1,095 euros for one year, with discounts for young people, senior citizens and families.

Arrival by plane

Ready for take-off? The journey to the Urban Nature Hotel Bad Gastein by plane begins in the air - and ends in the middle of the alpine vibe. Flying high, taking a deep breath and straight into summit bliss.

Salzburg Airport (96 km away): From the runway straight into that Alpine feeling - Salzburg Airport is your fast lane to your urban nature hideaway in the Alps. From there, you can reach us directly in around 75 minutes by rental car.

Munich Airport (250 km away): Fancy a bit of road trip romance? From Munich Airport, it will take you around 3 hours and 20 minutes to get to the Urban Nature Hotel in Bad Gastein. But don't worry - the route takes you directly through the fascinating Alpine landscape, so you can enjoy the most beautiful urban mountain views on the way to us.

Want something even more relaxed? No problem! We will be happy to organize your transfer directly from the airport to the hotel. Just let us know in advance, send us your flight times and number and we'll take care of the rest.

Benefit from the Guest Mobility Ticket

From 1 May 2025, a mobility charge will be levied throughout the Salzburg region. In return, all overnight guests will receive the Guest Mobility Ticket, which allows them to use all public transport throughout the Salzburg region (city and regional buses, suburban trains, regional and long-distance trains, and the Salzburg Verkehr shuttles) for the duration of their stay.
