Can Bello come along?

Yes :-) Four-legged friends welcome! We have a selection of dog-friendly rooms where you’ll feel right at home . Dogs cost €25 per day and are allowed everywhere except the Alpine Swim Club and the restaurant (for hygiene reasons – sorry). Don’t want to leave your four-legged friend in the room? No problem! There are lovely spots for you both at the Drifters Hang Out.

Park smart, not hard. But where?

Where can you park your car? You can unload your luggage very conveniently right outside the hotel. Just make sure you don’t get in the way of traffic on Straubingerplatz.

Parking
You can park your car hassle-free in the ‘Am Wasserfall’ car park – just 250 metres from the hotel. It’s even free until further notice. The barriers are open; no parking ticket is required.
Heads up:
If your car is over 1.90 m high, head to the rear entrance of the car park – that way, you can keep your mind free for the mountains and Urban Mountain vibes, and enjoy your stay in chill mode without any car park drama.

You can also get here by train and bus:
Shuttle within the town from €10
Shuttle outside the town by arrangement and after consulting reception

Is there a swimming pool at the Urban Nature Hotel Bad Gastein?

Listen – the former spa palace looks back on a rich history steeped in spa culture. There’s not just one pool, but a whole Alpine Swim Club! With a rooftop infinity pool, various saunas, five treatment rooms and more. To be honest, you’ve got to see it with your own eyes.

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning?

We don’t have air conditioning – but we still make sure our favourite spots are at a comfortable temperature at all times.

Clean Vibes Only: Room cleaning

To help protect the environment, we only clean your room every other day. If you need anything in the meantime – such as fresh towels, coffee, water or even a clean – simply speak to our team at reception.

Is there a visitor's tax in Bad Gastein?

What is beautiful should remain beautiful. In many holiday resorts, this is ensured, amongst other things, by the visitor’s tax, which is used to fund the tourist infrastructure in a spa town, such as the cleaning of beaches and parks, the provision of toilets and spa concerts, as well as the running of tourist information centres and spa centres. The current overnight stay tax in Bad Gastein is €3.00 per person per day, rising to €4.00 from 1 July 2025. In addition, the local authority levies a mobility charge of €0.50. This allows free use of local public transport. The total charge is therefore currently €3.50 and will be €4.50 from 1 July 2025.

Is there a chemist’s or a doctor’s surgery nearby?

You’ll find everything you need for your health and wellbeing at the Kurapotheke Bad Gastein: Böcksteiner Bundesstraße 1c, 5640 Bad Gastein, Austria. If you require medical assistance, please speak to our team on site. We’ll be happy to help you straight away.
